You might recall Heather and Matt’s weather plagued Millennium Park engagement session. Well, I’m not sure what sort of favor those two called in, but we could not have asked for a more gorgeous day for their lakefront ceremony and outdoor portraits at the Baha’i House of Worship. I had a hard time narrowing down my selections for the blog post, because there were so many lovely moments throughout their wedding day in Kenilworth and Wilmette. The day was full of emotion. I think Gina DeConti, Karin O’Brien and I (thank you so much Gina & Karin for helping me capture the day!) were already tearing up just moments after arriving at Heather’s hotel room when she was presented with a very special gift sent up by Matt. Heather got an equally tear-jerking gift for Matt. Not to mention surprising him with a fabulous groom’s cake highlighting his love of biking (wait until you see it below!). And when I learned Matt had chosen his dad to be his best man I was happy to have a camera in front of my face to hide the tears. You can see why I had trouble narrowing it down to just one blog post!
Heather and Matt, thank you so much for letting Gina, Karin and me share in your special day. Enjoy your sneak peek below, and don’t forget to stop by Facebook to see a few extras that couldn’t fit here. Congratulations!
