Weddings. Like a Boss.

by Amy on September 20, 2011

As I sit and charge batteries, clean lenses, bag film for the lab and do all of the rest of the activities that fall to the weekdays between two wedding weekends, I can’t help but get amazingly excited that I get to head back up north to work again with Eau Claire wedding photographer Kate Bentley. I am a lucky duck, because I get to call that crazy lady my friend. And she’s only one of the bestest friends a girl could ask for, so you can understand my excitement.

All of this reminded me that I haven’t shared any of the images from the last time I accompanied Kate on one of her spectacular weddings. You might remember Kate and Chad from their Millennium Park engagement session (that’s one of my favorites from the day up above – Fuji 400H – I love film). I fell head over heels in love with them that day, and when Kate asked if I wanted to come up and second shoot their wedding for her, I didn’t even have to think twice. The drive to Eau Claire is a little over 5 hours, so that should let you know how much I truly adore Kate. And Kate. And Chad.

I had such a blast at their wedding and I cannot wait to head up to Eau Claire to see Kate again in just a few days! Kate blogged their Enchanted Barn wedding a few weeks ago, and now it’s time for me to play catch up with a few of my favorites from their day.

I love the bride’s gown, the wedding venue is pretty cool. Congratulations and best wishes to the newly weds.
